The exceptions are ANXA5, ANXA6, ANXA10 and ANXA11, which play roles in several tumour types, while other ANXA members promote tumour cell proliferation (Grewal et al., 2010; Li et al., 2018a; Liu et al., 2019; Liu et al., 2020; Liu et al., 2021a; Zhou et al., 2021a; Zhou et al., 2021b; Gu et al., 2021; Huang et al., 2021; Ju et al., 2021; Wei and Zhu, 2021). This evidence concerns the gene ANXA5 and neoplasm.
