ANXA6 expression has been reported to be upregulated in cancers such as pancreatic cancer (Leca et al., 2016), ovarian cancer (Noreen et al., 2020), female thyroid cancer (Lee et al., 2018), and esophageal adenocarcinoma (Zaidi et al., 2014), but downregulated in hepatocellular carcinoma (Meier et al., 2016), gastric cancer (Wang et al., 2013), breast cancer (Sakwe et al., 2011), cervical cancer (Lomnytska et al., 2010) and triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) (Korolkova et al., 2020). This evidence concerns the gene ANXA6 and cervical carcinoma.
