CD4 and gastric cancer: We then used Wilcoxon test to find that resting CD4 memory T cells (p = 0.002), activated CD4 memory T cells (p = 0.01), M0 macrophages (p < 0.001), M1 macrophages (p < 0.001), M2 macrophages (p = 0.011), activated mast cells (p = 0.004) and neutrophils (p = 0.043) showed high levels of infiltration in gastric cancer tissues, while plasma cells (p < 0.001), monocytes (p = 0.015) and rested mast cells (p = 0.001) showed relatively higher levels of infiltration in normal tissues (see Figures 1B, C).
