SLC12A2 showed no significant difference in models with epilepsy compared to the controls (control mean ± SD = 0.952 ± 0.943, KA mean ± SD = 0.412 ± 0.994, p = 0.532, Student's t-test), but it was significantly decreased in multiple sclerosis [control median (IQR) = 0.511 (0.392), MS median (IQR) = 0.200 (0.597), p = 0.035, Wilcoxon test]. This evidence concerns the gene SLC12A2 and multiple sclerosis.
