For decades, there has been a dramatic expansion of the innovative therapies for patients with ovarian cancer, including vascular endothelial growth factor receptor (VEGF) inhibitors and poly(adenosine 5'‐diphosphate [ADP]‐ribose) polymerase (PARP) inhibitors.[1, 2] Despite these advances, ovarian cancer is still the most lethal of the gynecologic malignancies.
