In B-cell lymphomas, PD-L2 is usually detected on protumor M2 Tumor-Associated Macrophages (TAMs), and similar findings can be observed in classical Hodgkin lymphoma where high expression of PD-L2 (and PD-L1) by TAMs was associated with the suppression of the function of NK cells. This evidence concerns the gene PDCD1LG2 and B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
