The change in CYP2C19 slope before and after covariate correction was measured, and no covariate affected the CYP2C19 slope by more than 16%, indicating the robustness of the association between the histological NAFLD phenotypes and CYP2C19 (Supplementary Data 14). This evidence concerns the gene CYP2C19 and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
