MAPKAPK2 and Parkinson disease: Hence, qPCR experiments and GEO clinical data corroborated the correlation between the expression levels of the DNB core gene HSF1 and the DNB gene MAPKAPK2 and the neighbouring gene SERPINE1, indicating that these three genes may be potential biomarkers indicating the pathological preaggregation of α-Syn and that MAPKAPK2 in peripheral blood may serve as a potential biomarker for early PD diagnosis, which may be rendered before the pathological aggregation of α-Syn.
