SOD1 and bacterial infectious disease: As described in Figure 5b, the levels of malondialdehyde (MDA), a marker of oxidative stress, CAT, and SOD in the control group were significantly higher than that in the blank group, and T‐AOC levels were significantly lower than those that in the blank group, implying that bacterial infections did disrupt the disruption of antioxidant/prooxidant equilibrium in the liver.
