In agreement with the findings of the abovementioned studies, the hypoxia-high cluster in our study possessed a higher HIF1A mRNA expression and elevated relative scores in tumor aggression-associated pathways including “EPITHELIAL_MESENCHYMAL_TRANSITION” and “ANGIOGENESIS.” Accordingly, the hypoxia-high cluster had more CC patients with “Vascular_Invasion” and “Recurred/Progressed.” This evidence concerns the gene HIF1A and neoplasm.
