CD8A and obstructive sleep apnea syndrome: Figure 3A displayed the relative proportion of immune cell subtypes after filtering out the samples with p < 0.05. In VAT, monocytes and macrophages accounted for the highest proportion of immune cell types, followed by CD8 T cells. The PCA results as displayed in Figure 3B showed the group-bias clustering among the groups. Compared with control patients, OSA patients were characterized by macrophage infiltration and contained a higher proportion of M1 and M2 macrophages in VAT (p < 0.05, respectively) (Figure 3C).
