Interestingly, R-loop accumulation was significantly associated with the expression level of RNASEH2A (Fig. 5E) in prostate cancer tissues and poor outcome of patients with prostate cancer and prostate cancer progression (Fig. 5F and G), suggesting a dysregulated R-loop accumulation during prostate cancer progression and subsequent increase in RNASEH2A. Here, RNASEH2A is linked to prostate cancer.
