Participants with positive EBNA1-IgA (adjusted OR: 2.19, 95% CI: 1.06, 4.51), positive VCA-IgA (adjusted OR: 1.93, 95% CI: 1.03, 3.65) or single-positive anti-EBV (adjusted OR: 2.00, 95% CI: 1.17, 3.42) antibodies had around two-fold odds of developing liver cancer, compared with seronegative subjects in adjusted models (Table 2).
