Administration of TNBS, a haptenating agent, causes an immune response and results in transmural colitis representing clinical Crohn's disease.[27] Here, we confirmed that gut macrophages lacking YTHDC1 benefit colitis progression in both DSS‐ and TNBS‐induced animals, revealing the requirement of YTHDC1 for limiting IBD development. This evidence concerns the gene YTHDC1 and Crohn disease.
