Among the 66 lung cancer patients, the serum concentration of BDH1 was significantly higher in patients with metastases than that in those without any metastases (median [IQR]: 311.5 [243.3–388.4] ng/mL vs. 104.7 [164.3–205.8] ng/mL, p < 0.001). The gene discussed is BDH1; the disease is lung carcinoma.
