Intriguingly, tumors that formed from the pool of cells with HMGA1 silencing (E3LZ10.7 and AsPC-1 cells) express higher HMGA1 than the injected cells, suggesting that escape from gene silencing and a specific level of HMGA1 is required for tumor formation (Supplemental Figure 1, F and G).
