Antenatal COVID-19–related stress was significantly associated with depression (β = 0.32 [95% CI, 0.23-0.41]; P < .001), GAD (β = 0.35 [95% CI, 0.26-0.44]; P < .001), and postpartum distress (β = 0.40 [95% CI, 0.28-0.53]; P < .001) among mothers 8 to 22 months post partum (Table 2; Figure). Here, GAD1 is linked to major depressive disorder.
