On multivariate analysis, CDKN2A/B co-deletion (HR 2.28, 95% CI 111-4.69, P = 0.025), number of total brain metastases at surgery (HR 18.18, 95% CI 2.48-100.56, P = 0.0017), and tumor volume (HR 5.71, 95% CI 1.32-20.99, P = 0.013) were associated with decreased time to distant CNS recurrence remote from the resection cavity. This evidence concerns the gene CDKN2A and neoplasm.
