According to the gender-stratified analysis, heterozygote TA of MRPS30-DT rs16901963 was associated with lung cancer risk in males (heterozygote: adjusted OR = 0.66, 95% CI: 0.47–0.92, p = 0.013; recessive: adjusted OR = 1.48, 95% CI: 1.04–2.13, p = 0.032). This evidence concerns the gene MRPS30 and lung cancer.
