EGFR-AS1 was recently shown to be upregulated in diverse types of cancers, including lung cancer (37–40), cervical cancer (41, 42), glioma (43, 44), bladder cancer (45, 46), kidney cancer (47, 48), head and neck cancer (49–51), gastric cancer (52), colorectal cancer (53), liver cancer (54), and uterine cancer (55) (Figure 1B). This evidence concerns the gene EGFR and urinary bladder cancer.
