CASP3 and neoplasm: Traditional cancer treatment strategies (such as radiotherapy and chemotherapy) mainly target relevant genes and proteins that can induce apoptosis, e.g. Caspase-3 is one of the targets of cancer therapy, and activation of Caspase-3 plays a role in inhibiting tumor cells, but cancer cells gradually become resistant to apoptosis, which makes it difficult for traditional treatment regimens to be efficient.
