Circulating soluble LOX-1 expressions noticeably increased in patients with angina pectoris and closely linked with proximal and middle segments of the left anterior descending coronary artery lesions (LAD), moreover, in our previous research, we also demonstrated serum LOX-1 levels had significantly higher in stable coronary artery disease and metabolic syndrome patients than healthy subjects10,8.
