GSTM1 and anemia (phenotype): Table 2 shows the estimation of anaemia (progressive) at different antenatal visits corresponding to different GAs. The highest prevalence (39.8%) of anaemia was estimated at 26 weeks GA and the lowest prevalence of 29.2% was at 36 weeks GA. The prevalence of severe anaemia ranged between 0.7% and 1.6% at different gestational ages. However, more than half of them were found with moderate anaemia. The overall mean Hb values are shown in Table 3.
