To compare participants with or without cardiometabolic risks, those with increased abdominal obesity (p < 0.01), elevated systolic/diastolic blood pressure (p < 0.001), elevated serum FBG (p < 0.001), low HDL-C (p < 0.01), elevated TG (p < 0.001), and MetS (p < 0.001) were significantly associated with higher serum CEA level. Here, CEACAM5 is linked to metabolic syndrome.
