Aβ aggregation is known to precipitate Tau deposition in fibrillar tangles in AD [49], and passive immunotherapy anti-Aβ might be useful in addition to anti-Tau in early phases of disease [69–71], similar to sequential anti-Aβ and anti-α-synuclein suggested in the case of PD [35, 55, 66, 72].
