Compared with normal tissues, we found that FABP5 expression was up-regulated in the tumor tissues of cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), lymphoid neoplasm diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBC), acute myeloid leukemia (LAML), ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD), pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma (PCPG), testicular germ cell tumors (TGCT), Thymoma (THYM) and uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS), but down-regulated in brain lower grade glioma (LGG) and skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM) (all p < 0.05). Here, FABP5 is linked to acute myeloid leukemia.
