PTH and chronic kidney disease: Similarly, phosphorus (3.1 ± 0.5 vs. 3.6 ± 0.6 mg/dL, p < 0.001) and PTH (71 ± 44 vs. 102 ± 83 pg/mL, p < 0.01) serum levels were lower in the MedRen group, suggesting an amelioration of CKD–MBD, as expected by the control of protein and phosphate intake.
