Our primary outcomes of interest include the effects of and associations between mushroom consumption and diastolic and systolic blood pressures, blood lipids (total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, triglycerides), fasting plasma glucose, HbA1c, hs-CRP, and morbidity/mortality related to cardiovascular diseases or type 2 diabetes mellitus.
