TRIM56 is an oncogene in glioma, breast cancer, and Kaposi’s sarcoma [29,30,31,32], but it is a tumor suppressor in ovarian cancer, multiple myeloma, lung adenocarcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, and leukemia [33,34,35,36,37]. This evidence concerns the gene TRIM56 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
