IGHE and anaphylaxis: IgE-mediated CMPA can affect many different organ systems, mostly the skin and the gastrointestinal and respiratory tracts; the most frequently observed symptoms associated with this condition are acute urticaria, angioedema, pruritus, oral tingling, oral pruritus, swelling, nausea and/or vomiting, abdominal pain, wheezing, and systemic symptoms, such as hypotension, hypothermia, and potentially fatal anaphylaxis [9,10].
