Another relationship we have explored is an association between highly fucosylated N-glycans and the expression of CDX1—caudal-related homeobox protein 1 (CDX1)—that, as a TF, plays an essential part in the development, differentiation, and homeostasis of the gut [69,70], and this link was previously reported for CRC cell lines [16]. The gene discussed is CDX1; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
