Three genes (MAP2K2, RAC3, and PAK4) that were conserved in the SSCs of all three primates were also involved in numerous pathways, including “Pancreatic adenocarcinoma pathway”, “Integrin-mediated Cell Adhesion”, “Regulation of Actin Cytoskeleton”, and “Ras signaling” (Figure 4A–C). Here, MAP2K2 is linked to pancreatic adenocarcinoma.
