[164] observed that the genetic deletion of the miR-132/212 cluster promoted amyloid aggregation and deposition in cortical and hippocampal tissues 3xTg-AD mice compared to the WT control, as well as the upregulation of ERK2 (MAPK1), Sirtuin 1 (Sirt1), and Tau proteins.
