APOE and cardiovascular disorder: Some apolipoproteins have been widely described, particularly in the context of cardiovascular diseases, as they are part of the composition of high-density lipoproteins (HDL) (Apo A1, Apo C-I, II, III and Apo E) and low-density lipoproteins (LDL) (Apo B100, Apo C-II, C-III and Apo E) [9,10].
