CD8A and precursor B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia: The strengths of our study are as follows: (1) knowing that marker expression may differ between children and adults, we evaluated data only from pediatric patients and HSs (0–18 years old); (2) we evaluated the expression of several Treg/CD8 exhaustion markers in PBMC from an appropriate number of patients (n = 25) and HSs (n = 93); (3) our analysis focused not only on tTreg markers, but also on pTreg markers; (4) to best of our knowledge, this is the first study that performs bioinformatics analysis of CD8+ exhaustion marker levels in the PBMC of patients with pediatric B-ALL.
