Various studies have reported that CAMs, including CD44, CD138, ICAM-1 [18,19,20,21,22], VCAM-1 [23], CD11A, CD49D [21,24], α4β1 [25],and CXC motif chemokine receptors (CXCR) integrin [26], are associated with adhesion of MM cells to bone marrow stromal cells (BMSC), which leads to MM stemness and participate in BTZ resistance of MM. Here, ITGA4 is linked to Miyoshi myopathy.
