Based on immunohistochemical (IHC) staining for oestrogen receptor (ER), progesterone receptor (PgR), and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2), the majority of the breast cancer cases are classified as ER-positive (~65%), followed by HER2-positive (~20%) and triple-negative breast cancers (TNBC; ~15%) [3]. Here, PGR is linked to triple-negative breast carcinoma.
