GRα and β isoforms have important roles with opposite functions, hence we assessed the expression of the GR using an N-terminal specific antibody referred to as GRtotal, and a selective antibody specific against the GRβ isoform (GRβ) on an independent sample cohort of 9 TNBC and 11 luminal A type (ER+, PR+, negative for HER2) breast cancer tissues (see primary staining and negative controls omitting the primary antibody in Supplementary Figure S1, which also indicates the specificity of cytoplasmic localization). The gene discussed is GZMB; the disease is breast carcinoma.
