MAP2K7 and Miyoshi myopathy: Recent advances in the treatment of MM over the last 10 years have resulted in remarkable improvements in the survival and quality of life, even in patients with advanced stages, based upon new MM therapies using targeted inhibitors of BRAFV600E, such as dabrafenib, and MEK kinases, such as trametinib, that are involved in the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) pathway in conjugation with immune-based strategies [4,5,6,7].
