The presence of CAN, assessed in T1D, was associated with a higher abundance of AMBP, ApoB, Lp(a), Orm1, and transthyretin in HDL2, and lower content of clusterin, HBB, and PON3 in HDL3 (data not shown). The gene discussed is AMBP; the disease is Crouzon syndrome-acanthosis nigricans syndrome.
