Thirty-three proteins were differentially expressed in HDL3 from T1D and controls (Fig. 1D), being 23 (APMAP, apoA-I, apoA-II, apoA-V, apoB, apoC-I, apoC-II, apoC-III, apoC-IV, apoD, apoE, apoL-I, apoM, CETP, GPLD1, HPHPR, PCSK9, PLTP, PON1, PON3, SAA1, SAA4, and TF) more abundant in T1D, and ten (A1BG, AHSG, ALB, apoF, apoH, CST3, GC, HBB, RBP4, and transthyretin) in controls.
