Taken together, these data (Figs. 2 and 3, Supplementary Figs. 2 and 3) indicate that ovarian cancer cells treated with methyl gallate, or with combination of methyl gallate and low concentration of oxaliplatin (i.e. 10 μM), showed increased expression of stress ligands for NK cell receptors and concomitantly enhanced sensitivity to NK cell-mediated cytolysis. Here, KLRD1 is linked to ovarian cancer.
