Consistently, according to cubic natural spline analysis models, the odds of T2DM were lower with increasing IGF2BP3 levels in participants with serum IGF2BP3 levels <1.03 ng/mL (ng/ml: OR 1.99 [95% CI 0.96–4.11]) and higher with increasing IGF2BP3 levels in those with serum IGF2BP3 levels >1.74 ng/mL (ng/ml: OR 1.97 [95% CI 0.90–4.28]) in Model 4 (Table 3).
