Progressively higher odds of T2DM were observed when the serum IGF2BP3 level was below 1.04 ng/mL (ng/ml: OR 1.09 [95% CI 0.48–2.48]) in quartile 2 and over 1.76 ng/mL (ng/ml: OR 1.99 [95% CI 0.87–4.51]) in quartile 4 after adjustment for BMI, WC, DBP, TC, and TG in Model 4. Here, IGF2BP3 is linked to type 2 diabetes mellitus.
