Therefore, the main purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of CBD on the expression of selected fatty acid transporters (FAT/CD36, FABPpm, and FATP-1,4), the content of various lipid fractions (free fatty acid (FFA), DAG, TAG, and phospholipid (PL)), de novo lipogenesis as well as stearoyl CoA-desaturase (SCD1) activity, and elongation ratios of selected FAs in the mentioned above lipid fractions in the white and red skeletal muscle (musculus gastrocnemius) of rats with obesity induced by a high-fat diet. This evidence concerns the gene CD36 and obesity disorder.
