In agreement with earlier reports10–16, the plasma amount of several chemokines was significantly elevated in the Milan cohort both during acute disease (CCL2, CCL3, CCL4, CCL19, CCL21, CCL22, CCL25, CXCL2, CXCL8, CXCL9, CXCL10, CXCL13 and CXCL16) and at month 7 (CCL19, CCL21, CCL22, CXCL2, CXCL8, CXCL10, CXCL13 and CXCL16) in COVID-19 convalescents compared with healthy controls (Fig. 3a). Here, CXCL10 is linked to COVID-19.
