This score integrates nodal status of the primary tumour, and a disease-free interval between the primary tumour and liver metastases of <12 months, number of metastases >1, preoperative carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) level >200 ng/mL, and size of the largest tumour >5 cm, to predict OS in patients with liver metastases (Fig. 1).
