CD4 and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis: Cellular characterization of hepatic immune infiltrate in Tn housed NASH-diet-fed mice, compared to Ts housed counterparts, revealed specific increase in frequencies and absolute numbers of macrophages (CD45+CD11b+F4/80+) (p=0.03) and neutrophils (CD45+CD11b+Gr1+) (p=0.03), but reduced frequency of CD4+ T cells (CD45+CD3+CD4+) (Figure 1G and Supplementary Table 1, for gating strategy see Supplementary Figure 3).
