KEGG analysis revealed wide activation of immune-related pathways, such as the Toll-like receptor signaling pathway, TNF signaling pathway, RIG-I-like receptor signaling pathway, NOD-like receptor signaling pathway, natural killer cell-mediated cytotoxicity pathway, IL-17 signaling pathway, and C5-branched dibasic acid metabolism pathway and linked to some immune-related diseases, such as viral myocarditis, Epstein‒Barr virus infection, hepatitis C, influenza, autoimmune thyroid disease and allograft rejection (Fig. 1). This evidence concerns the gene TNF and hepatitis C virus infection.
