In this work, TGM2 was reported to activate the Wnt/β-catenin signaling, which was consistent with previous studies revealing the relation of TGM2 and Wnt signaling in osteoarthritis and vascular calcification as well as other diseases such as colorectal cancer and bronchopulmonary dysplasia [8, 9, 27–29]. Here, TGM2 is linked to osteoarthritis.
