Among those with diabetes, triglycerides, concentrations of large VLDL particles (irrespective of size and lipid class), glucose and glycolysis‐related metabolites, MUFAs, SFAs, most amino acids, creatinine, glycoprotein acetyls, and lipoproteins were strongly positively associated with liver fat (beta coefficients of 0.30 to 0.70), whereas large lipoprotein concentrations in HDL particles were strongly inversely associated with liver fat (beta coefficients <−0.65; Supporting Information Table S3). The gene discussed is ART4; the disease is diabetes mellitus.
