DNA methyltransferase inhibitors have been shown to resensitize CHOP-resistant DLBCL to chemotherapy, and other epigenetic therapies may exploit similar mechanisms [71, 72]; for example, BET inhibitors have shown modest efficacy as monotherapy for treatment of B cell lymphomas [93, 97], but future studies of these inhibitors in combination with chemotherapy may allow higher rates of efficacy at lower doses to reduce the severity of clinical effects. Here, DNER is linked to B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
