DNER and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma: DNA methyltransferase inhibitors have been shown to resensitize CHOP-resistant DLBCL to chemotherapy, and other epigenetic therapies may exploit similar mechanisms [71, 72]; for example, BET inhibitors have shown modest efficacy as monotherapy for treatment of B cell lymphomas [93, 97], but future studies of these inhibitors in combination with chemotherapy may allow higher rates of efficacy at lower doses to reduce the severity of clinical effects.
