Thus, the main findings were as follows: (1) HIIT reduced systolic blood pressure and weight loss, decreased plasma oxidative stress, and increased antioxidant capacity; (2) urinary dysfunction caused by arterial hypertension reduced the total volume of the bladder and increased the collagen area in the muscle layer; (3) HIIT increased IL-10 levels and reduced levels of inflammatory and antiapoptotic cytokines in the urinary bladder; and (4) HIIT induced an increase in the volume, inducing collagen reduction and higher levels of BAX protein.
